This post is to test the integration and auto posting from
http://healthcamp.posterous.com to
http://healthca.mp.
This will make it easy to post news updates to HealthCamp from email. That is a feature that is not supported natively in the multi-site implementation of WordPress. Consequently Posterous Autoposting offers a simple solution.

HealthCamp keeps growing. Today (June 21, 2011) A planning team will be discussing HealthCa.mp/la. The Los Angeles HealthCamp, which is being supported by Kaiser Permanente, is being planned for November. Originally it was targeted for July. HealthCa.mp/la will have a different focus. We are looking to build a stronger connection with diet and exercise as a route to vitality and well being. It should be a fascinating event. Watch out for details.
HealthCa.mp/az is taking shape. It also happens in November on the 5th. A team at Arizona State University in Phoenix are busy putting the event together.
The next HealthCamp is HealthCampFlorida, taking place in Tampa, FL on Saturday July 30th. We may also have a HealthCamp happening the same day in Portland, Oregon as an adjunct to O’Reilly Media’s OSCON Conference. Watch out for developments at HealthCa.mp/or.
HealthCampSFBay is on the Schedule for Friday September 23rd. Sponsor tickets and Friend of HealthCamp tickets are already available. If you plan to be in San Francisco for Health Innovation Week and the Health 2.0 Conference then grab your ticket for HealthCampSFBay today. Once again the event is hosted at the Kaiser Permanente Sidney R Garfield Innovation Center in San Leandro, CA.
There is also a possibility of a HealthCamp happening in the UK this year. Details are still in the works. Watch out for news on that front!

HealthCamp Foundation happily participated in Regina Holliday’s The Walking Gallery on Tuesday, June 7, 2011. This is an amazing project where each coat is “painted with the story of a patient or an element of health advocacy by me (Regina Holliday) or another artist.”
Mark’s coat is
Half Past Midnight and includes part of the HealthCamp logo – the fireball & heart. There is also the “blue button”, “green button”, and “white button”, part of the Rainbow Button Initiative.
My coat, “Nurse Power”, also includes the HealthCamp fireball & heart but shows two nurses getting ready to kick some butt and that “butt” is the green creature in the corner – the AIDS virus! I Love everything that my jacket depicts.
This is just the start of the Walking Gallery but there will be more starting with
The Walker’s Oath.
Thanks to Ted Eytan for providing a copy of the Proclamation.
