As chief technology officer, he is the executive  lead for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hhs.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\">HHS<\/a> (United States Department of Health and Human Services) open-government plan, which spans dozens of initiatives,  and he oversees HHS\u2019 Community Health Data Initiative, introduced in  June to offer free online access to HHS data.
