Joining forces with the Health 2.0 Developer Challenge
HealthCamp is going to be even more exciting this year! We will be co-hosting the Health 2.0 Developer Challenge during HealthCamp to provide a great venue to share ideas on creating new challenges and teams as well as processes to address the challenges.
The 2010 Health 2.0 Developer Challenge was launched in early June at the Community Health Data Initiative (CHDI) meeting at the IOM, with support from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Initiated in March 2010, CHDI hoped to ignite innovation using newly opened government data sets. The Health 2.0 Developer Challenge is supported by HHS but is being run by Health 2.0, the company that hosts the well known Health 2.0 Conferences. The goal is to continue the excitement of CHDI and to bring the Health 2.0 Community together for rapid application development. Anyone can submit a challenge or join a team to solve a challenge. Teams will be working on challenges over the course of the summer. Selected winners from the challenges will be showcased at the Fall Health 2.0 Conference.
