Please tell us a little about your day job.
I am the CEO of a Cambridge based start-up, Selventa. We are a personalized healthcare company, providing services to pharma and developing our own set of tests for patients with auto-immune diseases like RA.
What are you passionate about?
I care deeply about re thinking the pharmaceutical industry as a whole. I think that a big part of that will be a much tighter integration of patient specific molecular information with molecularly-targeted therapies.
What are you doing (or would like to do) to “hack” health care?
We are bringing or state of the art analytical platform to the table to analyze big molecular data. We can often predict response to drug classes or define molecular sub-groups in heterogeneous diseases.
Why are you attending HealthCamp Boston?
I am here to challenge and be challenged and to get some fresh ideas on how to move forward.
If you were to lead a session, what would it be about?
Pharma 2.0
What kinds of people do you want to meet at HealthCamp?
Other entrepreneurs, investors, and patients. I know this is not targeted towards patients, but we all have a health issue that needs tackling.
