John Moore (blog, twitter) is coming to HealthCamp Boston.
Please tell us a little about your day job.
As a HIT analyst, I try to make sense of how HIT will be adopted, who will benefit and what may be the challenges to adoption.
What are you passionate about?
Busting apart silos that keep healthcare data from flowing. Ultimately looking to see the healthcare system move into the 121st century with greater maturity in the adoption and use of IT.
What are you doing to “hack” health care?
Exposing the weaknesses in existing IT solutions, challenging policy makers to go farther and not cave into political pressures.
Why are you attending HealthCamp Boston?
To meet others of similar mindset, to create critical mass for change.
If you were to lead a session, what would it be about?
How do we deliver greater value to consumers of health, what are those linchpins beyond simple transactional processes that will lead to greater engagement.
What kinds of people do you want to meet at HealthCamp?
Those with a good sense of humor.
See you at HealthCamp Boston!
